Turn Your Body Into a Fat Burning Machine: NOTE 2

Guess what???

Drinking 2-3 liters of water a day speeds up your metabolism by about 33% and drinking ice cold water speeds it up EVEN MORE, because your body has to work harder to adjust to your body's temperature.

AND water helps big time in flushing out the toxins in your body that cause bloating.

Plus, "water helps cleanse your liver and kidneys, allowing your body to excrete hormones efficiently. It also tames cravings. A craving is often a sign of plain dehydration, not a cry for food." (from Jackie Warner's "Lose 10 Pounds in 10 Days" book)

Turn Your Body into the Fat-Burning Machine it was Made to be! NOTE 1

You can have a fat-burning body BUT you have got to feed it the right, high-nutrient and fiber foods it has been starving for AND in the right ratio (the single serving size and the right carbohydrates, fats, and proteins...) AND you have got to workout intensely (without going so far you faint or get light-headed or vertigo type-of-vision).

I am learning about this in my online Personal Fitness Trainer certification class so that I can become a certified Personal Fitness Trainer by the end of this summer (2013) if not sooner!

For the past few years I have been building off of my obsession with learning about health, diet, fitness, weight loss, muscle building, exercises, and workouts by doing some of my favourite things - researching celebrities and their trainers for their films (such as Gwyneth Paltrow's diet and workout for the Iron Man movies, and Jessica Biel's diet and workout for Blade Trinity film, Scarlett Johansson's diet and workout for Iron Man 2, Angelina Jolie's diet and workout for Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Chris Evans' Captain America diet and workout, Chris Hemsworth's Thor's workout, Christian Bale's Batman Begins diet and workout, Hugh Jackman's diet and workout - just to name a few).

Jessica Biel - training for Blade Trinity
Chris Evans in Captain American

Gwyneth Paltrow - Iron Man 2

Scarlett Johansson - Iron Man 2

Jake Gyllenhall - Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

Anyways, this year I have realized that I really enjoy helping my friends learn new exercises to challenge their bodies into building muscles - especially them Ab muscles (they are incredibly important to keep strong, because you use them ALL OF THE TIME). So now, I'm taking it a step further, I want to help more people learn what exercises they can do to achieve the bodies they want and deserve by getting certified as Personal Fitness Trainer!

Even if you don't have the paid-time a celebrity gets for training and getting in shape for a film, I want to help you with or without equipment, in as little as 10 minutes a day or 50 minutes a day learn to use different exercises (that celebrities, Victoria Secret Models, sports champions, and fitness gurus use) to keep your body guessing and burning calories and OVERALL feeling a whole lot better (but you can't out workout a bad diet! - Man! Have I got to work on that myself...portion control, Hannah - and it's important to feed yourself positive thoughts, like you would want to give to someone else, like the personal you were training or encouraging).

I like to try out different martial arts, yoga, pilates, bodyweight exercises, and exercises with very little equipment (mostly that isn't a hassle to move around, though I would LOVE to have one of those heavy punching bags, I've read that punching and kicking one of them things burns a ton of calories if going at it pretty hardcore-like).

I am one of those who gets bored easily and needs to keep the workout upbeat, changing and challenging all the time (or else I notice there's not change - I don't get sore the next day), BUT I also need to take at least 10 minutes of slow-paced, breathing-focused, yoga-like stretching after the intense workout that ranges (depending on the day) between 10-60 minutes, though to be honest I have not had much time to go for the 60 or even 90 minutes that I like to do. I have been shooting for 30 minutes a day - at least 15-20 of those minutes is intense, with the warm up and cool down being 5-10 minutes themselves.

Now down to business, I am going to share with you on my blog (in addition to things related to my Remmington Pirates books that I am STILL working on!) what I have been learning about how these famous peoples of the sort get the bodies people admire AND what key tips my teachers want their Personal Fitness Trainers to share with their clients.

Jackie Warner (a celebrity fitness trainer and health and wellness professional said, "I feel that in terms of program design and intensity, women and men should train identically. If you train like a man, you'll reach your goals faster."

Think of women in the military - I don't think they are allowed to train any different than the men, I mean, in the first place, they wanted to prove they could be as good as the men in ordered to be in the military, right?

So don't be afraid to train hard, because you will get faster results (with a self-controlled and appropriately balanced diet).

First Try At ScreenWriting with my Remmington Pirate Books

Did I tell you I took a screenwriting class last fall/autumn that was probably the best class I ever took in college?

Here is one scene I wrote for my professor (in England) - he wanted A Protagonist that tries to get what the antagonist has 2-3 times before succeeding.

This be what I wrote: (Remember this is written for the movie screen...but will also be re-written to fit in one of the Remmington novels)

British and Spanish pirates fight each other with swords, axes, pistols, rifles and daggers on the decks of both galleons floating next to each other. Storm clouds lurk around the sun.

On the British ship, dirt smudged eighteen year old, Half-Hispanic, Half-English Martha – in pirate garb with her thick straight, ebony hair tied back at the nape of her neck – attempts to jump over a dead pirate, who’s actually still alive. He grabs her leg for a second. She trips landing on her hands and stomach.

At the same time twenty-three year old, muscular, brunette British pirate Karsin dashes past her. He snatches a key tucked under an actually dead pirate’s belt and runs across the deck. He stops at the railing, grabbing one of the swinging ropes.

Martha looks behind her at the dying pirate with shock, while Karsin turns around and gives her a saucy grin. He holds up the key.

Karsin
                                                Looking for this?

Martha jerks her head around with surprise then worry at Karsin. She does not notice the dying pirate die, as she gets up with determination.

A continuation of smoke and ear splitting sound from cannon and gun fire fill the air around them, along with the clashing, shouting and cursing of fighting pirates.

Karsin turns back around, steps up onto the railing and swings across to the Spanish ship.

Martha runs after him, jumping over the second dead body more cautiously. She stops at the railing, looks to see a Spanish pirate approach her with a ruthless look and cutlass in his hand resting at his side.

Spanish Pirate
                                                Como estas, amiga?

Martha stares at him with confusion then panic, followed by determination. She drops down pulling out the dagger tucked around her waist. She tackles his legs with a forceful grip. They fall over and he lands hard on his back, causing him to drop his cutlass.

Martha brings the dagger above her head and stabs him in the stomach. The pirate looks at her with shock. Getting up, Martha yanks the pistol from his belt.

Martha
                                                       Gracias, amigo!

The pirate curses her then dies.

She pushes the pistol in the belt around her waist then pulls out the dagger in the pirate. She wipes the blood onto his pants with a look of disgust. She looks across to the Spanish ship, searching for Karsin in the crowd of unorganized fighting pirates.

Martha does not see the robust, British light-brown haired pirate, Jacob approach with his cutlass hanging loosely at his side, as she slides the dagger back into its leather pouch sitting on her hip.

Jacob
                                               Did you get the key?

Martha
Let’s just say it has been momentarily
                                              misplaced.

A Spanish pirate swings over from the Spanish ship, landing on the railing in front of them. Jacob swings his sword at the pirate, killing him. Martha instantly grabs the rope and swings across, as Jacob shouts.

                                                                          Jacob
                                                What? You lost the key?

Martha lands on the Spanish ship just as she sees Karsin’s sword clashing with a British pirate. She pulls out her pistol.

Jacob loses sight of Martha, as she charges through the chaotic crowd toward something or someone. He is then engaged in a sword fight with two Spanish pirates.

Martha stops a few feet away, as Karsin’s sword kills the British pirate. She aims her pistol at Karsin. Out of the corner of her eye, another Spanish pirate sprints toward her with a mad look. She quickly turns to fire her pistol at the Spanish rogue.

Karsin notices and grins. He starts to run, but stops when he comes face to face with the stalwart, twenty-two year old, British black haired pirate, Gavin.

Martha groans, realizing it was her last shot.

Martha
                                                Stupid pistol.

She tosses the pistol then sees Gavin and Karsin conversing. Gavin looks angry and Karsin smirks defiantly. She darts to them, snags the key out of the sash around Karsin’s waist, and runs into the captain’s cabin. She unlocks the chest sitting atop the desk, and pulls out a bunch of folded papers opening them.
The top of the first letter reads: Letter of Marque

The top of the second letter reads: Anne by the Grace of God

"...Hereby Authorizing you in and with the said Briganteen and Company to her belonging, to War, Fight, Take, Kill, Suppress and Destroy, any Pirates, Privateers, or other the Subjects and Vessals of France, or Spain, the Declared Enemies of the Crown of England..."
