Let's Begin...Somewhere

I am in the process of writing a pirate, romance, action-adventure series.
I'm currently calling it, "The Remmington Pirate Series." It's set in the early 18th century.

Two sisters and their cousin (coming into the young adult world, where their fathers want to marry them off to noblemen) find out that their uncle is not dead. He's a pirate! He's known as Crazy Lou. So the adventure begins when Jane wants to meet this notoriously, fearsome, pirate uncle of hers, but Alexandra (her sister) and Martha (their cousin) don't want her to go alone, so of course they have to come with.

They meet handsome, young, old, mean, dirty, strange, kind and all sorts of other pirates and people. Some are unsuspecting of who they are or what their story is.
Through their travels and interactions with other characters, they learn that there is treasure available, BUT it's not as easy to get as it seems. AND all sorts of people and pirates want it!

Jane Remmington (one of the sisters) is thinking that this treasure might save her from marrying a man she does not love and buy her some time to find the man she does love.
Alexandra Remmington does not care for the treasure, but she wants to keep her rebellious sister and cousin safe. However, the treasure would be good for her family's drowning finances.
Martha Remmington wants the treasure to help poor people.
Crazy Lou wants the treasure for himself and his crew.

And we can't forget about the three handsome boys! (like William Turner - don't worry he's not in my books)
Jacob Bernflick (Crazy Lou's first mate, but not for long...).
Tom Cutting (Crazy Lou and Jacob's enemy) - He's first mate of evil pirate, Captain Skullblade.
Gavin Williamson (another of Crazy Lou and Jacob's enemies. And he's enemies with Tom...) - He captains his own ship.

The story will have gypsy witches, sea monsters, mermaids, slaves, cannibals, pirates (obviously), English Navy sailors, Barbary cosair (whom are Muslim pirates), and...well, we'll see. ;)

And quite frankly, my inspirations are Indiana Jones and the Pirates of the Caribbean type of thing, along with many other inspirations. ;)

I would love to tell you about characters in more detail along with other things related to my pirate series, but this is what I will share for now. It's very complicated, because I tend to spit up ideas all over the board and then after organize them into when does this happen or does this fit in the story? Will it work? It's like a puzzle not put together. So I'm thinking all the books in the series will get done all at about the same time. What can I say? That's just how I write. ;)

God Bless!
